I received a few things of feedback on the filler that I proposed. While I’d like to do a supplemental comic, I can’t find the time as of right now. What I can do though is write.
My plan is two attempt two articles during the week, the first being something to expand the universe, i.e. introducing a new characters background. The universe will have plenty of bit parts when the next chapter starts so this should help give them the backgrounds and such they theoretically deserve.
The second article will be looking into modern comics, discussing what I like and don’t like, doing some recommendations and talking about inspirations which are all purely accidental.
Hopefully this interests you throughout the week.
Also greetings readers who are coming from FreakAngels where I posted a link on the forum and thank you to Box Brown for informing me of the link.
Tomorrow I will do my best to have an article discussing comics and then next week I will attempt to have one of each articles up. And there should be a comic as well.
I feel really bad about the comic only updating once weekly. While Remus is unable to currently do more than one comic, I am glad to step in and pick up the slack. Is there anything you might like to see as an additional update throughout the week?
Words only stories?
Background articles about the world?
Questions (that may one day become frequently asked)?
Doodles of characters?
or some other idea.
If you are interested in this idea, actually do me a favor and post it instead of not posting it. It is easy to do and it gets you, the reader, extra content.
Haven’t heard from Remus in a few days, not entirely sure what is happening. If possible I will let you know when I can.
So I forgot/didn’t put together some facts that have led the comic being late, somewhat stemming from being busy with college, life, etc etc etc. Essentially Remus is at a conference till tomorrow and has been there all week thus no comic as of yet so in exchange I am hooking you up with a preview of the premium variety, a picture of Yuri decked out in commie finery.
Presented for you is Yuri in his superhero uniform from the original design. He was a lot more scowly and foreboding at the time.
Once again, sorry about the lateness.
But hopefully this sorta makes up for it.
Nerdy rapper (but not nerdcore) Adam WarRock has recently (last weekend sorta) released his first album The War For Infinity which is a rap-opera based on Marvel’s classic Infinity Gauntlet series. It is a solid album and very enjoyable and for $15 you get a digital and print copy of it. Buy it here!
If you don’t want to trust my music choices Mr. WarRock has posted about three hours of free to download songs collected here with personal favorites being Ira Glass, The Chase, Preacher Man and S.D.C.P. (Build Something). And if that still is not enough he has The West Coast Avengers Mixtape for free here that I have listened to about 20 times. It is pretty amazing and in some ways I like it better than The War for Infinity since it isn’t telling a story.
Still, check out Adam WarRock! He raps about social issues, living your dreams (realistically) and webcomics.
Next page is up when it is up.
